and Payment Policies |

The
Diamond Dance Center runs two seventeen week sessions that make up one
year of study. The tuition scale is based on one seventeen week session.

1.
Registration Fees - All students must pay a registration fee in the
fall. This fee helps with many of the costs related to keeping the Diamond
Dance Center open for business. The registration fee is as follows:
$20.00 New students $15.00 Current & Former Students. If you are
a new student who took classes with us this summer, your fee will be
pro-rated for the full session.

Discounts –
a)
Full Payment Discount - A 5% discount is given to those students
who pay in full. The 5% discount is only available at the beginning
of each new session. Students who register mid-session are
not eligible for this discount.
b)
Family Discount - A family discount will be given to siblings whose
total number of class hours is greater than or equal to five hours
per week. The second child will receive an 8% discount and the third
child will receive a 5% discount.

Payment Options:
Option
I: Payment in full - Tuition paid in full at the time of registration.
A 5% discount on tuition will be given with this option. Please see
#2 above.
Option
II: Two Payment Plan - Two equal payments with the first payment being
made at the time of registration. The second payment would be due
the first of the following month.
Option
III: Three Payment Plan - Three equal payments with the first payment
being made at the time of registration. The second and third payment
would be due the first of the following two months.
Option
IV: Four Payment Plan - This option is available only to those students
whose tuition exceeds $400.00. Four equal payments, the first payment
being made at the time of registration; the following three payments
would be due on the first of the following four months.
Please
note there is no longer a five payment option! Families paying on a
payment plan should make payments as listed below. Payments may be mailed
to studio or placed in the “Golden Box” on the counter.
Payment
One – August/September Payment must be RECEIVED by Friday, September
10th.
Payment
Two – October Payment must be RECEIVED by Sunday, October 10th.
Payment
Three – November Payment must be RECEIVED by Wednesday, November
10th.
Payment
Four – December Payment must be RECEIVED by Friday, December
10th.
Additional
"flexible" payment plans are available for dancers/families
with emergencies or financial need. Please call for an appointment
to discuss your payment options with office manager or studio directors.
5. Late Payments - A LATE FEE OF $15 WILL BE APPLIED TO PAYMENTS NOT
RECEIVED BY THE 10th OF THE MONTH! Please notify the studio if there
are extenuating circumstances regarding your late payment. The fee may
be waived once per calendar year at the discretion of the directors.
6. Returned Checks: Checks returned to us for insufficient funds will
be resubmitted for deposit. If you do not wish to have the check resubmitted
you must notify us ASAP. A new check for payment should be issued at
that time. There will be a $30 charge for returned checks.
7. REFUNDS - NO REFUNDS will be given after the first class! Dancers
who have paid in full will receive a partial refund
based on the date of withdrawal from the class. Exceptions for extenuating
and/ or extreme circumstances will be reviewed on an individual basis
at the discretion of the studio directors.
8. Class Minimums – Minimum enrollment is 6 students/class. If
the minimum student enrollment is not met, classes may be cancelled
or combined at the discretion of the studio directors.
9.
Placement – Placement in classes will be determined by the studio
directors and class instructors. Placement classes for new students
with experience will take place before the beginning of the fall session.
Each child’s placement in a particular class will remain open
for review for the first four to six weeks of classes. During this time,
we will continue to assess the child’s learning curve and their
ability to maintain the pace of the class in which they were placed.
If there are concerns regarding your child’s class placement you
will be notified prior to any changes in your child’s class placement.
All new students are considered on “probation” until the
six-week evaluation period is over.
