Youth and Teen Divisions (Ages 9 and up) offer standard technique classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and pointe, for students ages nine through eighteen. A strong foundation in ballet and modern technique is highly recommended. Our ballet program is based on the Cechetti syllabus with teachers certified in this technique. The Cechetti ballet method offers graded levels which allow each dancer to progress at their own pace. Dancers will be evaluated for placement in the appropriate ballet level prior to the beginning of each session. Testing will be available and encouraged to provide consistent student progression through the syllabus and teacher evaluation.

Pointe work will only be offered to those students who meet predetermined physical and developmental criteria. Only those students who have made a commitment to the serious study of ballet will be considered to begin pointe work.
