At the Diamond Dance Center our mission statement contains two important goals. The first goal is to provide our students with a quality dance education that will enrich and enhance the lives of our students and their families. The second goal is to work collaboratively with the community and other dance organizations to serve as a resource for dance promotion and dance education. The Diamond Dance Center performs throughout the community in order to bring the joy of dance to all its members. Our faculty is available for lecture-demonstrations and speaking engagements. In addition, the members of the Gems In Motion Performing Company regularly give performances throughout Harford County and the surrounding area.

The Diamond Dance Center continues to educate and promote dance-specific celebrations such as “National Tap Dance Day” and “National Dance Week.”

National Tap Dance Day is an annual celebration held on May 25th, the birthday of famous tap dancer Mr. Bill “Bojangles” Robinson.

National Dance Week is celebrated every year in the spring. This years NDW will be held from April 22nd through May 1st, 2005!

The Diamond Dance Center will work with individuals to create an exciting program for your group in conjunction with the dance celebrations listed above or any dance topic of your choice.
